AW16
Welcome to our Autumn / Winter release for 2016, albeit a little late on this update. Okay, a lot late, but it is now here.
We want to introduce you all to the hats, where they come from, and what they mean to us. So here goes...
The impending winter has us thinking about summer already, and what better way than to envoke memories of summer. Surf, beaches and a lifestyle that leaves you wanting more, the Byron adds some liveliness into the long winter days, a perfect addition to any outfit.
Byron Bay in northern NSW, Australia is the ultimate beach town.
One of our favourite holiday spots and only a short hop from home, the laidback lifestyle in Byron is second to none. The craft nature of Byron brings some many like minded people together, it truly is an inspiration spot.
The classic navy crown with tan brim has gone through the TFPR&Co. design machine and come out the other side looking geo! On the surface it looks calm and ready, but under the brim is where the magic happens.
We were wanting to release a nice simple design, one that people were familiar with. But you may have noticed, we don't really follow the rules around here. We took probably the most classic snapback around, and mixed it up, just to make it different. We love the idea of producing something original, rather than being a sheep, and this design is the epitome of our ethos.
Floral, everyone loves floral. But as stated above, at TFPR&Co.we love doing everything just a little bit different. Introducing the Parrot, a little floral with a lot of extra, just how we like it.
The Parrot started life as a sports strip, and we loved it so much, we just had to put it on a hat. The Wellington Parrots was the first NZ club team to play in the Australia Beach Handball Nationals, and certainly the best looking team of the tournament (if you don't know what beach handball is, click here.

I’m Ron Burgundy?
Who doesn’t love Anchorman. When we created a maroon hat, we couldn’t let the opportunity pass to have a link. Effectively a TFPR&Co. blank, the white brim contrasts the maroon crown perfectly, creating a stunningly simple, yet stunningly beautiful design.
Ron Burgundy would look good (and classy) in a San Diego
We were also inspired to produce a maroon hat heading into Origin season. We aren't huge league fans ourselves, but we are partial to some interstate banter, and what better way to encourage that than a hat off.
We also love the simplicity of the brim. Huge fans of clean, modern interiors, we tried to replicate that style in this design, and we think we nailed it.
Let us know in the comments below what you think and head over to the shop and grab your AW16 favourite now.
Until next time #hattergonahat
